Multi-needs are meet through
our Medical Day Care Program at Mountainview. We have a safe and
secure environment where love and caring abounds.

Excellent opportunities for
handicapped individuals to receive Medical monitoring plus
socialization which includes assistance with eating - walking -
toileting and medicines.

Doctors refer patients to
Medical Day care according to their needs. A physicians summary
including diagnosis - medications - diets - etc are required.
Community long term care refer to patients who have Medicaid and
are part of their home based services. Private patients are
admitted directly by Medical Day Care Nurse after an appointment
with the patient. There is no charge for the Pre-Admission.

Individual needs are met
according to a patients needs. We have nutritious meals and
snacks and special diets are served according to the Doctors
order. We have sittersize exercises, mental stimulation, games
and many craft and activities.

Communication is a very
important part of our Medical Day Care Program. We invite
patients in conversation and some form of communication even
some are aphasic. Since music is a universal language, we use
music as an important part of our program.

Activities are very important
to our patients which include Bingo, Birthday parties, music
programs devotionals. By visiting pastors and lay people also
movies and crafts.

Love is what makes our
medical day care so special. Our staff is composed of registered
nurses and certified nurse assistants. We consider our patients
as family and feel an integral part of their everyday problems
and accomplishments.

Diets are ordered by the
patients Doctor. Breakfast snacks plus a complete balanced lunch
are served. Our food is delicious and partial or total
assistance is given at mealtime.

Attitudes are improved
greatly when becoming a part of medical Day care. A happy
environment in a home type setting with comfortable recliners to
relax or doze in plus a staff who cares.

Years are no business for our
program. Any adult 18 years thru 100+ who meet the intermediate
Level of Care.

Cooperation with one another
is a plus for our facility. We love and care for our patients as
well as our co-workers. We also work with all community
resources and can sometime recommend services available that can
make care giving easier for our families.

Acceptance is based on a
patients need to be cared for in our Medical Day care. All our
patients live at home and are brought to our facility Monday
thru Friday between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm by the
Spartanburg Transportation Bureau whose vans are wheelchair
equipped.

Rehabilitation is an integral
part of our program whether it be Mental or physical. We work
with each patients individual needs to promote their activities
of daily living.

- Environment is a happy,
healthy and loving atmosphere and a second home to all our
patients to give our families free time for themselves or some
respite so they can work. |
