To Our Family Members and/or Responsible
Parties:
Mountainview is pleased to inform
you of the work we have been doing in the area of pain
management. Pain is an important area that could effect the
quality of life for your loved ones and our residents.
Our nursing staff has re-evaluated our practices and has
promoted a facility-wide commitment to a heightened awareness of pain management
for all our residents.
Through continuing education for our staff and
our affiliation with professionals, we have addressed the
importance of the prompt recognition of pain, the assessment of
pain, and the treatment options for pain management.
Working together with help and input from our
residents, their families, our staff and physicians, we will
continue to work for positive outcomes for residents experiencing
pain.
